Last week, a wave – more like a tsunami – crashed through my old spiritual pantheon. People I once respected (and even worked with) now blaze across headlines and shocked group chats.

If you’ve built a lifetime of “conscious leadership” inside that world, it can feel like the ground just dropped out from under you.

In this 11‑minute video, I’m speaking as a conscious woman who walked away from that machine 35 years ago and now lives in Portugal – a country with dictatorship and Inquisition in its bones – to remind you: you were never meant to build your life on anyone else’s pedestal, least of all while calling it “surrender” or “trust.”

This is an invitation to stop hiding at the edge of the well and start acting on what you’ve known to be true inside for years.

When the leaders fall, the temptation is to swing to the opposite extreme: freeze, keep scrolling, keep pleasing everyone around you, and quietly hope clarity will arrive on its own. The real danger isn’t that your heroes fall. The real danger is what happens if, at a moment like this, you keep abandoning your own inner authority.

Staying on that emotional roller coaster has a cost.
Every time you override your own goosebumps of inner recognition to keep the peace, or wait for a “sign” from someone louder than you to confirm what you already know, or try to meditate it away as a clever form of spiritual avoidance, you bore a hole in yourself instead of in the rock.

Not investing there doesn’t keep you safe; it quietly feeds the very dynamics – control, dictatorship, spiritual bypass – that you say you’re done with.

At this stage of life, that’s too expensive. You don’t have endless decades left to give your power away. The most urgent investment now is in your own truth – listening for it, aligning with it, and acting on it, even when others don’t understand.

  • Each honest act of listening and acting is a drop that bores through “The Rock.”

  • Alone you’re a drip; together, the drips merge back into ocean and nothing can stop that wave.

👉 If you know you’re at that kind of juncture – done with people‑pleasing, ready to stop outsourcing your wisdom and live from your own well – add your name or comment below. I’ll send details of a small circle and private immersions designed exactly to chaperone women through this passage, one steady drip at a time.
