“I want to invest in myself, but I’m not sure if I can afford it (or find the time).”

Time and time again, I speak with spiritually mature healing professionals who face hesitation when it comes to investing in their own growth. Despite having savings or alternative sources of income, many find it challenging to allocate resources for personal renewal.

I’ve been there myself. I once believed that my needs were secondary, and that investing in myself was indulgent. By denying my own growth, I left my well empty and struggled to offer others the full benefit of my gifts.

The core issue is often a mindset block. It’s not solely about the money or the time—it’s about believing you are worthy of this investment. It’s about stepping beyond your comfort zone to invite new possibilities.

As healing professionals, we often prioritize the well-being of our clients, patients, or loved ones over our own. You might be giving everything to others while neglecting your own need for renewal and growth. This pattern can be deeply ingrained, but recognizing that your own growth is essential is the first step towards change.

A few year s ago, after a challenging period that left my business in ruins, I faced a similar dilemma. I had the chance to attend a transformative 10-day retreat in Germany but was unsure how to manage the financial and time commitments.

Despite my initial hesitation, I reached out for support from someone I wasn’t very close to—my brother.

To my surprise, he was willing to help. I planned to repay him, even though I wasn’t sure how I’d manage that. This act of support not only helped me financially but also deepened our relationship. That retreat led to significant connections and opportunities, allowing me to rebuild my business and recover financially.

This story isn’t just about managing finances; it’s about faith and the willingness to advocate for yourself.

Each of us faces a choice: to listen to the critical inner voice that says you can’t or to advocate for your worth and take bold steps towards your goals.

When you choose to invest in yourself, even if it feels uncomfortable, you open doors to new possibilities. It’s about aligning with your highest potential and embracing the opportunities that come with that choice.

If you’re feeling stuck or uncertain about investing in yourself, I invite you to a discovery session.

Let’s explore how you can connect with your worth and uncover pathways for your personal and professional growth.
